“As a writer, I am an observer of life. Everyone’s fair game, even my dog. I take the real and stir in enough imagination so that I don’t lose all my friends and family.”

Jaimie Kourt is a writer interested in exploring human experience. Her character-driven scripts delve into the idiosyncrasies of people's personalities and behavior. She has been lauded for the wit and authenticity of her dialogue.

Jaimie is a screenwriter and freelance writing consultant who has been part of the Los Angeles film industry for over two decades. Alongside her own projects, she is currently working with an A-list actress, developing her television projects, scripts and selling materials. She is also partnering to write a biographical, comedy pilot for a prominent television producer. One of her favorite jobs is as a script evaluator for The Austin Film Festival.

Raised in Palo Alto, California, Jaimie earned her BS in Business at the University of Southern California and her MFA in Screenwriting at The London Film School.
